Streets closed to cars

  • Colorado Blvd from Pasadena Ave to Allen Ave
  • Raymond Ave from Pacific Alley to E Dayton St
  • A 1.0-mile western pop-up bike lane will run along Walnut Avenue between Raymond Avenue and Orange Grove Boulevard and then continue to Rosemont Avenue a few blocks from the Rose Bowl.
  • Additionally, a 1.0-mile segment along Colorado Boulevard from Allen Avenue to San Gabriel Boulevard will connect East Colorado Boulevard to the Lamanda Park neighborhood.

As listed on CicLAvia's event page, where the route map shows the streets cars can cross at.

These streets on other days

These streets are closed to cars for one day; the rest of the year they carry traffic. From 2021 to 2026, 16 bike crashes and 29 pedestrian crashes were reported on the route's streets (within 20 m of the drawn line); 1 person was killed. Those are the crashes police reported with a location, so the real numbers are higher, and busy streets have more crashes because more people use them.

Where they happened, street by street: Pasadena: bike crashes, pedestrian crashes, all crashes.

Other CicLAvias

Pasadena has also run on one other day:

Every CicLAvia route.

Dates, hours, hubs and street closures come from CicLAvia's own event listings on ciclavia.org, checked every few hours. Safe Streets Map isn't part of CicLAvia; check its event page before you go, since plans can change. Hub points are placed from their street addresses, and the route is drawn by us from the listed streets on OpenStreetMap. Weather from the National Weather Service.
